Geometry and Topology have seen spectacular recent developments, including the solution of classical problems. As a consequence, the established picture of how various parts of these areas fit together is evolving rapidly. On the topological side, among the topics that have progressed are: four-manifolds obtained as knot traces; knot concordance and homology cobordism, Stein fillings. On the Floer homology side, we have powerful new computational methods and new invariants of embedded graphs and webs. On the more analytic side, we have new compactness results and potential new invariants.

Groups St Andrews conferences have been held every fours years since 1981, most recently in 2017 in Birmingham. The conference aims to present new developmetns from all parts of group theory and to provide an opportunity for early career researchers and doctoral students in group theory to discuss their research with international experts and to present their own work to a broad audience.
Principal speakers at the 2022 event will be Michel Brior (Institut Fourier), Fanny Kassel (IHES), Denis Osin (Vanderbilt) and Pham Huu Tiep (Rutgers). Plenary speakers include Miklos Abert (Renyi Institute), Yves de Cornulier (Lyon 1), Bettina Eick (TU Braunschweig), Michael Giudici (UWA), and Jula Pevtsova (Washington).

This conference will address both fundamental questions in moduli theory, the geometry of moduli spaces and interactions with other areas. The main topics to be covered include the general theory of stability conditions in derived categories and non-reductive geometry invariant theory (GIT), higher rank Brill-Noether theory, and Higgs bundles and character varieties. These strongly inter-connected topics have all experienced intensive research activity in recent times and the time is right to bring the community together.

The British Combinatorial Conference (BCC), held biennially, is the foremost UK conference in the field of combinatorics and its applications. Each edition of the BCC includes 9 internationally renowned principal speakers, selected by the British Combinatorial Committee both for the excellence of their research and the clarity of their exposition. These speakers will give survey talks covering a diverse range of topics within the field of combinatorics. The BCC will also include six invited mini-symposia covering the breadth of combinatorics.

Many natural and prominent problems in the theory of integrable systems were solved by mathematicians from ouside the field, i.e. those who do not consider integrable ystems as their main area of research. Typically, these people work in Riemannian geometry, algebraic geometry, symplectic geometry, the theory of PDEs, or mathematical physics. The goal of this conference is to bring such people together to exchange ideas and share methods of study of different problems in integrable systems, applying these new ideas and methods in their specific research projects.

This conference, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Alfréd Rényi, aims to represent modern probability, graph theory and networks, information theory, dynamical systems, number theory, and other fields in Rényi’s spirit. Plenary speakers and parallel sessions will explore the interconnections between these and other areas of pure and applied mathematics and show how Rényi’s way of approaching mathematics as a whole determined the shape of these areas.
