This conference will focus on non-Markovian random walks, including models with long-memory effects produced by self-interaction or the influence of random media.  These models provide a variety of complex large-scale disordered phenomena with motivations arising from fields such as physics, biology and engineering. Deep relations have emerged or are conjectured with quantum field theory, the KPZ universality class and the theory of Anderson localization.  This meeting will emphasize non-reversible random walks in random environments and self-interacting random walks, for which fundamental questions have resisted repeated and persistent attempts to answer them.
