CMI-HIMR Summer Schools

The Clay Mathematics Institute and the Heilbronn Institute for Mathematical Research invite proposals for a one-week postgraduate summer school on a topic of current interest, to be held in Bristol, Oxford, or other location.  A typical school features three short courses, each comprising four lectures, as well as several guest lectures and problem sessions.

Funding is available for accommodation, lunch, and subsistence for 30-40 students; limited funds may be available for those students who are unable to secure travel costs from their home institution. CMI and HIMR provide all administrative and logistical support.

The format of a proposal is not fixed. It should be brief, two or three pages, and should set out the reasons for holding a summer school and the intended goals, as well as proposed short course lecturers and guest lecturers.

For more information or to make a proposal, please contact the President, copied to the Administrative Manager.
