Christopher Hacon
Christopher Hacon was born in Manchester, England. He received his BA from the University of Pisa in 1992 and his Ph.D. from UCLA in 1998 under the direction of Rob Lazarsfeld. He held a postdoctoral position at the University of Utah, then spent two years as an assistant professor at UC Riverside before returning to the University of Utah, where he is now an associate professor. Hacon received a Sloan fellowship in 2003 and an AMS Centennial Fellowship in 2006.
