Computers
Access: Log in as "visitor" to one of the three macs in the Hilbert space. Password is on a sheet of paper on the wall to the left of computers. You may also connect your laptop to the wireless network. This works for PC's as well. Alternatively, plug your laptop into an ethenet socket.
Wireless access: Network is "Hilbert". For passwords look at the sheet of paper posted to the left of the computers in the Hilbert space.
Printers: For the three Macs in the Hilbert Space, the printers are in the front office, the kitchen, and the Hilbert Space.
Software installed in dock: Safari, Firefox, Terminal, Textedit, TexShop. Some other software can be found in the Applications folder.
DirectionsBy T: Take the Red Line to Harvard Square. Exit the station through the main station entrace (go through the turnstiles and up the escalators). As you exit the station, reverse your direction and walk east along Massachusetts Avenue in front of the Cambridge Savings Bank. Cross Dunster Street and proceed along Mass. Ave. for four more blocks. You will pass Au Bon Pain and the Adidas Store. Clay Mathematics is at One Bow Street, just past the Grafton Street Pub.
By Car: From the Massachusettes Turnpike (east and westbound): Take exit 18 (Allston, Cambridge): Go through toll booth ($!), bear tight towards Cambridge, then get into far left lane at the traffic lights. At the second traffic light (before the bridge across from the Doubletree Guest Suite Hotel) turn left onto Storrow Drive; continue straight on Storrow Drive to the Harvard Square exit. Cross over Lars Anderson Bridge. Go straight on JFK Street into Harvard Square. Turn right at the traffic light just before the Garage Mall. You will be on Mount Auburn Street. If you plan to park on the street, it would be a good idea to look for parking at this point. Turn left on Plympton St., and then right on Mass Ave. Clay Mathematics is at One Bow Street, just past the Grafton street pub.
From the Airport: Pick up the complimentary airport shuttle outside each terminal's baggage claim area. Be sure to take the shuttle that stips at the T station. Take the Silver line inbound to South Station. At South Station, change to the Red Line Outbound to Harvard Station and follow the directions above.
