Fermat's Last Tango was shown during the Pinnacle Summit conference, held at Simon's Rock College in Great Barrington, MA from July 31- August 6, 2001. This conference brought together mathematicians Arthur Jaffe and Gordon Ritter (CMI, Harvard) with talented high school students in mathematics, and with gifted students and experts in other fields.

Preceding the show Karl Rubin gave a short lecture on the mathematical themes involved in the history of Fermat's Conjecture and its proof by Wiles. Following the presentation was a reception and further discussions.
