Sucharit Sarkar

Sucharit Sarkar was born in 1983 in Calcutta, India. He received his BMath degree from Indian Statistical Institute in 2005 and received his PhD from Princeton University in 2009 under the guidance of Zoltan Szabo. His research area is low dimensional topology. He is currently working on Heegaard Floer homology for three-manifolds and knots inside three-manifolds.
