Alexei Borodin
Alexei Borodin spent the 2001/02 academic year as a Member of the Insititue for Advanced Study in Princeton, and he plans to visit the Courant Institute, Institut Henri Poincaré, and Caltech during the year 2002/03. His research concentrates around asymptotic problems of representation theory of growing families of groups (like symmetric groups or unitary groups), and connections with enumerative combinatorics, random matrix theory, and integrable systems.
Alexei Borodin is a Clay Research Fellow during the term July 1, 2001 to June 30, 2005.
